DUTCH CHAMPION 1952
Dutch championship shirt of Eindhoven resident HANS DEKKERS from 1952.
On the occasion of the 50th anniversary of the R&TC Wilhelmina, a jubilee party was held in Son & Breugel, the final feat of a renowned club from Eindhoven.
As a member of this association, I was asked if I wanted to decorate the hall with some nice old shirts; that was, of course, no problem.
This shirt of Hans Dekkers also hung in the room, donated by a nephew of Hans Dekkers.
While clearing away the shirts after the party, the shirt was given to me by this cousin; at that moment (!!) it was immediately the oldest shirt in my collection.
A few weeks later, R&TC Wilhelmina merged with WV Colonel Cole and WCL Het Zuiden, so that was the end of the story for R&TC Wilhelmina.
For this shirt, only a photo of the front because the shirt is framed.
